We had a fabulous day yesterday where over 40 cars rolled up and many non racers had the opportunity to strap into a race car and experience speedway racing first hand. Well done to all regular drivers who gave their crew, family and friends a great ride. A big thank you to all those who helped on the day with flags, gates, food, drinks and the track.
Once the track closed, we set in for a most enjoyable evening around the camp fires with food, drinks and friends. Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway thank all those who joined in the fun …. some more than others – and we believe this type of evening needs to make a comeback and happen more often.
On a final note, Carrick Speedway thank our 20 year major sponsor, Cranes Combined, also all other sponsors and volunteers who work so hard for our track.
