Speedway Sedans Australia are delighted to announce an exciting brand new initiative for the continued success of its organisation as the world navigates the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The new program to be known as ‘SSA GO” is available to all Speedway Sedans Australia registered competitors to help enable them to compete in interstate events for the next three seasons.
A one off payment of $500 will be made available per competitor when travelling more than two thousand kilometres interstate from their residence or may be used to travel to and from Tasmania across Bass Straight to help with the shipping costs associated with that journey.
As the sport has faced an unprecedented challenge, Speedway Sedans Australia is launching this funding program to help its clubs, associations, tracks and as importantly its competitors a mechanism of support as we all look to the other side of the COVID-19 crisis.
“SSA GO” will see $90,000 in total distrubuted to competitors between now and the end of the program in 2023 with the support of Speedway Australia.
Applications will open on the 1st August 2020 with the application form to be downloaded from www.speedwaysedans.com.
